He got dropped at the test level because he could not score runs against pace nor spin yet he is the best against both? SMH.

He got dropped because he was having issues against spin bowling homes. 3 of his last 5 dismissals at test level were against spinners, twice to Taijul Islam and once to Keshav Maharaj. You forgot that that that 311 we made against Australia at Brisbane on a dodgy wicket under lights in 2024 was on the back of runs from Da Silva, who top scored, Hodge and a debut half century from Kevin st Clair. And this is against the same attack that rolled over the WI for 27 last year
