So I think he is potentially one of the best fast bowlers available to the West Indies. Better than Layne, Phillips, Shields etc. More pace than most and good ousting. Yet he wasn't played in the first game, though I don't know if he was injured.
Kelvin Pitman
@spider
The Leeward Silly -lectors erred by not playing him in the first game! The youth has immense potential although he has had some disciplinary issues. No way he should be left out for Oshane or Louis!
@spider
i wouldn't go as far as saying that. the pitch is offering a lot of assistance to the seamers, yuh doh even need to manipulate the seam to get it to move laterally on that green top.
@Jumpstart
I never really saw a lot of assistance. Pitman made inroads with pace and out swing. Never saw much seam movement or any irregular behavior by the surface
@spider
i didn’t see any swing. I saw a lot of seam movement, and early in the game. Phillips is no swinger of the ball but he consistently kept beating Mikyle Louis’ bat until he finally had him caught at 1st slip. Ditto with the others
@Jumpstart
Oh, there was definitely some swing from Pitman, almost every ball. Look again.
@Jumpstart
Well I just looked again at Phillips and he swung it today. At least it looked like swing to me.
