The ball pitched half way down, it was a short ball. The pitch is acceptable
That ball was just short of a length. Certainly rose sharply but the batsman came out too soon on his front foot and squared up.
Poor batsman lacked the technique to deal with that ball.
Where there many balls rising sharply off a good length?
