Players who have disappointed so far in this year f/c season, Hodge, Carty, Athanaze, Shields, Chanderpaul and Anderson. Hodge, Shields and Athanaze just returned from a challenging NZ series, a fan would think that they would look better than what they have showed so far. Shields has not improved, he still sprays the ball all over. Chanderpaul as an international batter, he should be scoring at a faster rate than the 18 s/r he presently is scoring at. Tailenders do better than that under pressure. Anderson seems to have been affected by his only experience in Test cricket

why are you dissapointed ?did you see much improvement in them in the wi side? athanaze has been mediocre across all formats of cricket for years. carty has struggled in the longer format regionally and internationally and his best format odi his form has gone down .hodge has done a little better but he still averages late 20's

Well, after just playing at a higher level a fan would expect better performances. Auguste just had one white-ball away tour and he looks like an improved batter
