@BeatDball

During #45's first Press Conference he put on a show of physically "Tearing Up The Script", thereby demonstrating total disregard for 'rules'. What would you expect his subjects to do while following that lead?

@BeatDball

Are you just uninformed, just silly; or both? RSaA is socialist? But then Denmark, Sweden...?

Mandela turning in his grave

Mandela was part of the problem. (Not saying, of course, that he did or would condone this kind of lunacy.)

I wanted to say I feel like taking a personal lap punching the air, but since that would suggest I'm happy, I cannot. But I have never been motivated to visit South Africa and I;m glad. I even know two people --Yardie women-- who have moved there and wouldn't visit, despite having gone to the continent a few times. To my mind, the damn Boers should never have got off scot-free like they did, especially to the point of re-instituting some of the same Apartheid as before.

So then, I had harboured this little notion of attending a match at Wanderers for a West Indies engagement, as the one possible exception. Then came the first round of their xenophobic madness some years ago when I saw footage of a mob attack (with a knife) on a Mozambican shopkeeper. Horror of horrors... it was filmed by a white man no more than maybe a dozen feet away! Bakra Massa was in no danger at all.

No thank you on South Africa.

Mandela wasn’t the issue. Many of the people who did not receive amnesty at the TRC never faced the courts because there were people within the ANC for some reason who did not want to see those people dog to court. Ford Calata, a member of the Craddock 4 who were were murdered by Apartheid secret police. None of the police involved in the murder got amnesty because they did not make a full disclosure but the case never made it to trial and all the policemen involved in the murder are now dead. There have been allegations that members of the ANC, specifically Thabo Mbeki and more so Jacob Zuma were less than willing to have these trials brought to court, for a number of reasons. In fact the government has formed an inquest team to investigate why the NPA( national prosecution agency) did not prosecute these crimes. Recently Mbeki and Zuma asked for the head of the commission to recuse herself, which was rejected in court
