Guyana is playing the best cricket
@Chrissy
I say Barbados has the best players. T+T has the best performances as a team and Guyana has the third best team.
hopefully Guyana gives some other players a play against the Academy, like Junior Sinclair, Permaul could be rested. However, how the tournament is setup it is still a toss-up to say who was the best team
guyana and trinidad had the easiest matches against the two worst teams in regional competition .jamaica and barbados rounds were the most competitive
@velo
Guyana won the title last year and Trinidad beat Barbados inside two days at Kensington last year. They’re not teams to sleep on
You cannot pick a team playing best cricket when each team only plays one opponent.
Is Guyana playing great cricket or is the Winwards playing very poor?
@Chrissy
Not sure who is playing the best cricket but Guyana seems to have a balanced line up with - on paper - the best bowling attack
The tournament structure is a nonsense though. Guys like Kirk McKenzie and Carty who now catching form and need the playing time are done with regional red bal for the season after playing 3 matches against the same team on similar wickets. How can we properly judge Kirk's performances. Will we have to listen Slippy for the rest of the year complaining about Kirk getting unfaired?
@Logic
If. I doh know if is the IMF advising CWI ( because they’re broke as a joke)but this tournament format makes not an iota of sense. If you’re concerned about spending money, then split the teams into two groups on two islands and have them play each other. And the winners of the group go forward to a championship final. And ask some of the territorial boards to cover part of the expenses. Most if not all of them get some kind of governmental subvention, use it. Three games against the same side makes no sense

But the Harpy Eagles records says different... They are the defending champion and most lightly will win it again... On paper everything looks good until its being tested either in processes, policy even roster...
