I saw Bruno Mars on The Romantic Tour! Do go see

Sun, May 3, '26 at 11:00 PM

Well....from not knowing who Bruno Mars was back in around 2012, to spending hours since 2013 on YouTube watching clips from past performances.....I finally seized the opportunity to see him perform live on The Romantic Tour in Charlotte. And it was all very spontaneous. Booked the flight and concert ticket, then told the boss.

If you like feel good music, with real music instruments including horns, trumpets etc., and just an all around good time....do go see! Peter Gene Hernandez is a performer extraordinaire.

On my way walking to the concert last Wednesday, I asked a gentleman if I was on the right track to the Bank of America stadium. He said yes and then asked if something was going on there! As if!!!! (cue the line from the movie Clueless). Anyway, 75,000 + people knew.

Maaan.....that was an awesome experience. Money well spent.

NB American Airlines flies non-stop between Grenada and Charlotte, plus I had air miles.....taxes came up to US$79! Get your credit cards with loyalty programme, people!!

Anyway, if you are "thinking about it," just stop thinking and go buy the ticket.

I am going to be 60 this year, so this was one of my gifts to myself.

What else special should I do for me?

@Kay

Awesome! Hope you enjoyed. I saw reports saying Rogers Stadium was not a good venue. Lots of complaints.

@Yamfoot

Views from residents were kind of mixed with the older folks saying the noise level was disturbing while the younger crowd seem to be ok.

Rogers Stadium, owned and operated by Live Nation is a huge investment so i guess they are here to stay ...
