Just sounds like some competitive practice session, a veteran and youngster clashing. Could be a team building encounter for WC 2026.

Seems that even with more support resources later generations display more emotional immaturity

my brother, I could not be more happy if it is just that I’ve been following him all season and for the last few games he’s been playing 90 minutes. His game hasn’t been what you would expect, but I understand he’s trying to stay fit with an eye on selection. Santos has been very supportive too.The concern is his emotional state. There’s been just too many incidents in the last few months.

his position shouldn't be up for debate anyways. ancelotti has tried to use paqueta, as a sort of midfield winger.....it ain't working and paqueta as a player has declined significantly. I was always supect of his ability against top opposition anyways. I'd pick neymar and then the other 10 men. he has to work on that temper though. i know he wants to desperately win the WC but this brazil team can't afford for him to lose his head in an important game.

It breaks my heart to see this because I am hoping for him to finish his career with a good performance in the World Cup. I doubt Brazil can win it all, but Chrissy no one but no one not Messi, not Mbappé can handle a ball in close quarters like him.

I think it’s more a question of his emotional health. The burden of expectations through the years that remains unfulfilled and the uncertainty of selection for the World Cup seem to be getting into his head. He really needs someone to sit him down and I’m sure Santos has done so. The ball is now in his court.

That is why he'd try to keep a cool - head. He ain't priority on the HC roster..

ancelotti has given neymar 2 months to prove himself if he does not he will not be at the world cup regardless of what anyone thinks

Holy smokes, how you guys carrying on I thought Neymar knifed him or shot him....not shot him a box. This is a team matter no need for all this excitement. I don't care much for Neymar but investigated as an assault is a little bit over the top. This 18 year old better understand that there is a world ahead of him and if he have any designs on Europe he better check himself as no European team will touch him if he filing charges against his team mate. What the heck is he going to do when his opponent start taunting him and put a big tackle in his a$$. Not excusing Neymar either, he can't be slapping up people children like that and he aught to have handled that a lot better. This should be a team matter handled appropriately internally by team management without the excitement.
