Seales sledges imlach

One of the funniest I have heard

“ imagine they wanted you for West Indies captain , that would have been a disaster”

lol

@grugru

He said WI would’ve gone to the dogs, I wanna know which WI he plays for 🫠

I thought that was over the top by Seales and not very smart thing to do. Imlach currently is the most successful captain in regional cricket, from observation he seems to be the most thoughtful. Imlach might one day be captain of the WI, then how Seales will look?

@dayne

i literally said that in another post his behaviour was way over the line imlach might be his team mate in the upcoming series do the talking with the ball not your mouth like the greats of the past

@velo

Agree, Seales was out of line and is out of touch, how could he say that to his Test teamate.

@dayne

It sounds rough doesn't it. I don't know, they might be good friends off the field. Sometimes as a fan you have to take these things with a grain of salt. Especially when we don't know the relationships players have.

@velo

the GRATES of the past sledged too

that wasn't offensive; it’s just banter on the field

nobody should ever be nasty or offensive on the field

you guys want such soft sensitive sportsmen then you feign surprise when they wilt in international competition

…or having never played ‘at level’ can’t understand

@grugru

That my friend is way out of line and do hope as I watch todays play. With Imlach batting and Seales bowling the Guyanese skipper hits a match winning ton.

@Raggs

Picong is picong no need to behave like little women over words

Wed, May 20, '26 at 11:51 AM

@grugru

Seales has been sledging all the time but nothing wrong with that once you could back it up and he can. Imlach lacks the mental tenacity for test cricket.

Wed, May 20, '26 at 3:24 PM

@Raggs

You were hoping for far too much and I,as many others were shocked when Imlach was mentioned as a candidate to captain West Indies.Seales showed just how I felt and many others.BTW it may have sounded rough but between the 2 players it may just be a laugh.

Wed, May 20, '26 at 4:15 PM

Imlach will have the last laugh when he puts down the edge off of Seales’ bowling in the first test against Sri Lanka.

And then tells him “sorry……not sorry. Who gone to de dogs now?”

Wed, May 20, '26 at 4:37 PM

@imusic

@voiceofreason

then the sledge will be

“ can’t captain; can’t catch”
