Wed, May 20, '26 at 1:20 PM

sammy and pretty boy floyd aint working

Wed, May 20, '26 at 1:35 PM

Both of them?

Wed, May 20, '26 at 1:52 PM

@pariaman

yeah....all that.....but the incumbents should have resigned after 27 all out(a number that triggers VOT)

Reyad Emrit one of the best all rounders in the Caribbean to be constantly snubbed by West Indian selectors,although many of your performances with both bat and ball,justified more than one international. I hope you achieve as a coach what you were denied as a player.

WELL DONE YOU HAVE PUT SOME STEEL IN YOUR PLAYERS,THAT IS HOW YOU PLAYED,I am sure more success will come your way.

BRILLIANT!!!

@granite

I like how the team was changed to suit the match ground and not that lazy ass "You do not change a winning team" stupidness

Wed, May 20, '26 at 2:37 PM

@pariaman

or in the case of sammy, a losing team. what he did kevlon anderson was criminal. they boy hasn't fully recovered as yet

@pariaman

time to end the Ted Laso experiment

From the very start I could never get my head around the thought process of Sammy.

He started off saying he wanted to change how the test team approached games and learning from others ( I presume England) be more attack minded.

He then appointed the most conservative captain imaginable.

Bizarre strategy.

@Conorboy

it have no strategy...........he's a good motivator(which in itself is an extremely valuable skill), so that may work with a team with a core of demotivated but seasoned professionals(i.e the 2016 team who were visibly tired from fighting with the board). it won't work with a side with 1) new and relatively new players and 2)players who've been given a run and proven not to be up to the international standard. having a coach who knows nothing about batting(floyd's career and even technique can be categorized as incompetence) doh help either

If Hercules is that great of a coach he would have saved him.

Man calling it Regional dungheap yet pushing for Regional dungheap coaches. HA HA HA !

@voiceofreason

I didn’t call it regional dung heap dodo brain. I said this earlier

But I wouldn’t describe this match as dung heap. The seam and swing bowling in this match would trouble the best of batsmen. It really has been superb. While Seales and Paul have taken the wickets and both have been of the very highest quality , Phillips and Smith in particular have been criminally unlucky. Smith passed the outside edge at least three times every over in his first spell yesterday. Which goes to my point that fast bowling in the WI is in a very good place right now.

@voiceofreason

But , But Voicey

Emrit or Hercules dont have the credentials as the CWI coach and chief selecta.

Dang, I missed watching the game, so I didnt see if they were taking notes?😳

Wed, May 20, '26 at 6:01 PM

@Jumpstart

You have always called this dungheap! Just because your boys playing is not dungheap anymore!

Wed, May 20, '26 at 6:25 PM

@voiceofreason

I called it dung heap then because the best players in the West Indies did not play in it. Gayle, Sarwan, small Bravo was banned, dj bravo didn’t see the point in playing, Dre rus, Narine etc. if you’re best players not here, then that can’t be a proper tournament. Now the best players are playing….seales, Shamar, chase(even though he’s trash), mootie, alzarri was injured but he’d have played if he was fit. And they’re aren’t many West Indies internationals in the ipl again and most of them are failing. The
