Baptiste saved a couple of match points to beat Kreijcikova in three sets.

@mikesiva

Will Djoka survive Rd 1

Sun, May 24, '26 at 5:37 PM

@Chrissy

Well he answered you by putting out a good one .... 😀

@Chrissy

Pity about that wrist injury 😕

Djokovic beat Mpeshi Perricard in four sets.

Stephens crashed out in the first round, but Andreeva and Zverev advanced.

Alcaraz injured, of course, and will miss the French and Wimbledon.

@Kay

The French said farewell to two veteran entertainers yesterday:

Monfils

Wawrinka

it is about time Monfils retire, i thought he retired last year, he never maximized he talent.

Osaka just won her match; on her way to the 2nd round match,,,

@Cricket_101

Felix AA outlasted Altmeier in a marathon five setter to reach the second round, along with Gauff, who had a straight sets win over Townsend.

Kouame put out Cilic in straight sets, and other first round winners include Sinner, Zverev, Sabalenka, Keys, Mboko, Swiatek, Rybakina, Paolini, Tiafoe and Shelton.

Parks beat Fernández in straight sets.

Rybakina out .... clears the way for Swiatek in that side of the draw. ....

@mikesiva

Great tennis all-around... I like Osaka...

Thu, May 28, '26 at 5:44 PM

Sinner could not stand the heat, all he had to do was to win one game in the third set and he would have been thru to the next round. Better conditioning next time

Thu, May 28, '26 at 6:42 PM

@dayne

He won only two of the last 20 after conceding match point

Fri, May 29, '26 at 2:03 AM

@dayne

The 🇮🇹 attempt to twist the schedule in his favour didn't work this time!

😀

So, who'll win the men's? I'm going for Berretini, if he can stay injury free.

Kouame won another five set marathon, and also advancing to the third round were Felix AA, Tiafoe, Djokovic, Zverev, Tsitsipas, Gauff, Osaka, Sabalenka and Swiatek. But players going out in the second round included Shelton, Paolini, Parks and Baptiste.

I think the women's will go to one of:

Gauff

Sabalenka

Swiatek

What a match the Fonseca/ Djoka showdown was. In the end youth prevailed in a gruelling 5-setter....

Fri, May 29, '26 at 2:59 PM

That was an all-time great match between Djokovic and Fonseca.
