TTCB recognises ‘Caribbean man’ Shallow
The Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) paid tribute to Dr Kishore Shallow during the closing ceremony of the CPL/TKR Trinidad T20 Festival at Queen’s Park Oval on Saturday night, describing the Cricket West Indies president as “family” to the local cricket community.
“Here in Trinidad and Tobago, Dr Kishore Shallow is considered family,” the TTCB stated as it honoured the regional cricket administrator for his contribution to West Indies cricket and his relationship with T&T cricket.
Shallow has regularly attended TTCB award ceremonies and tournament finals, often delivering feature addresses and presenting trophies.
The tribute also acknowledged Shallow’s recent appointment as Minister of Tourism and Maritime Affairs in St Vincent and the Grenadines, adding to a career already heavily involved in public service.
The ceremony concluded with the TTCB describing Shallow as “a true Caribbean man” and TTCB president and CWI vice-president Azim Bassarath presenting him with a commemorative plaque.
