Which is the more skillful bowler in red ball cricket? For me, if Keemo was given a look in to the test team, he would open bowling with Jayden and Alzharri would be first change and Shamar second change.
Keemo v Alzharri
@PalsofMine
i don't think they're competing for the same spot. we can field four seamers and have greaves as the allrounder(i am still suspicious of his competencies on wickets not overwhelmingly in favor of batting but that is another story). mootie should be our spinner when the conditions suit it but you go in with your best bowlers, the bowlers you can guarantee will take 20 wickets
@PalsofMine
Keemo lasting entire test.....it would be miracle.....
I will have Holder above both in all formats...
Greaves bowling is not international standard....apart from few innings...his batting is below par....as of now...he is Mayers 2.0 .....
Keemo is very good bowler....but unproven at international level in all formats.....he was at one point..... taunted as death bowler...in white ball....
Best 4 bowlers in all formats...
Seales
Joseph
Shamar
Holder
In white ball..add on
Forde
Keemo
Both wicket takers
Greaves can be more handy as opener in ODI....
I would like to see keemo in the white ball setup.shamar joseph and jayden seles have leapfrogged alzharri in test cricket time for him to step up
@Onionman0
I guess Anderson Phillip is not good enough to be included in this conversation
@velo
Which suggest he is now the third option. And that's how I see it, he will always be in the top 3 pacers slot.
Keemo Paul is one of the best red ball bowlers in the region... sadly, his body keeps letting him down.
Here are his FC numbers:
Matches - 35
Wickets - 131
Avg. - 20.15
S/r - 38.7
Which other pacer in the region got numbers like that?
Once fit, he should be in or around the test team!
@grugru
In my view, Anderson Phillip, should definitely be in the conversation.
@Fivestar
we have seen anderson phillips in test cricket and he has not looked impressive

yuh cyah be serious homes
you're entitled to territory/island bias......but at least make it conversant with facts nah
@Jumpstart
you put a clip of one good delivery but 6 test matches 10 wkts avg 65 is that great? he might have improved these last few months i don't know we will have to see against quality batsmen not wi fc batsmen .but from what i saw in new zealand it was not impressive
should you not apply the same yardstick to Kemo?
they both played this season and who was the better bowler?
@velo
Kemo take any wickets like that in international cricket? And you forgot to mention how batsman friendly the pitches Anderson Phillips bowled on in nz were, where 400 was breached thrice and 500 once. And ironically Phillips had the best figures for thecWI bowlers in both innings of the 2nd test
@Jumpstart
I agree that Phillips must be part of any conversation and he cant be judged really by the NZ performances where even Seales struggled. In this FC season, he played one more match than Keemo who ironically did not play against the Academy, in theory the weakest team. If I were going for the top 5 seamers currently in the WI, Phillips is there as well as Keemo with Joseph x 2 and Seales. Perhaps what we need to do is rotate this top 5 to prevent over bowling and breakdowns as all of these names have suffered breakdowns in the recent past. My point, to which I would like a response, is that if Keemo is given a test, should he open bowling or come in as a change. I think that he is better with the new ball than either of the josephs
@Jumpstart
You can't be serious... Anderson Phillips nowhere near Keemo when it comes to red ball cricket.
You claiming Keemo never bowled anything close to that delivery.. well take a look at his first test wicket. Cleaned up Tamin with a similar delivery.
Just go to the 30 min mark.. when it comes to red ball Keemo moves it around both ways for fun. Something de others struggle to do. White ball cricket he's a runs truck.
