The Tits should not cuss because Auguste is clearly a chosen one as was Athanaze. He has done about the same or probably less than Athanaze in his career leading up to WI selection. It is likely based on this that he will do even less than Athanaze when in WI colours. My standard is that where your top 2 average no more than in the 20s in test cricket, you are justified in chopping and changing at will. This is not a case of a decent batsman having a drop in form. This is a case of such low standards generally that no one can complain

Athanaze topped the Regional Charts before his selection with over 600 runs. At this moment he certainly deserves a drop but now he knows he just has to score in a couple seasons and the region will be clamoring for him to come back 🙃

Auguste is definitely an insular pick no doubt but he is young and his obvious talent was identified way before Scammy!!!

A team is obviously never just picked on raw stats there’s plenty of other factors ask Safraz Khan check out his regional numbers and how many times he’s gotten selected for India!!!

Anyways is Dexter an insular pick or are there stats to back his inclusion???
