Joshua Da Silva didn't cuss or insult Sammy at all. All this talk about "sidecast" and big fallout is just pure old-talk, media bacchanal, and selector politics.
Look at how the whole drama start:
Where the "Sidecast" Mauvais Langue Start
The April 2025 Interview: After Kraigg Brathwaite drop the captaincy, Josh talk to the Newsday. He say it would be a real honour to captain the West Indies Test team, but he keep it cool: "If it happens, it happens... If it doesn't happen, it's life. I'm just excited and I want to play cricket for West Indies."
The Selector Tabanca: Even though Josh was a top choice for captain and was scoring runs like rain for T&T Red Force (including a massive 220), the selectors bypass him completely. They start giving Tevin Imlach the nod instead.
Media Cooking Up Commess: When Josh get drop, the local commentators and newspapers start a whole heap of speculation. The Trinidad Guardian even run an article asking, "Who did Joshua Da Silva offend?" People start to wonder if Josh talk out of turn or if he and the big-pappy selectors had a real falling out.
The Real Truth About the Commess
Josh actually hold his composure like a proper professional through the whole captaincy transition and selection drama. Fans and sports columnists might be vex and washing their mouth on Daren Sammy and the CWI board, but Josh himself never talk any badness or look for fight with the coaching staff.
