Daren Sammy said this in the wake of the recent first ODI against Sri Lanka:

"I thought we definitely have to play their spin much better,” he noted. “Their spinners went for probably 68 runs off 20 overs. That’s something we’ve got to be better at in the next game. We’ve spoken about it and it’s about getting the confidence to have all the skills they’ve been working on, and implement it in the game.”

How long has it been known that West Indies have been poor performances against? We are worthless against spin.

We sent a bunch of youngsters to India on a crash course, are they being integrated into the set up?

What is being done are has been done at the regional level to overcome this problem which has bedeviled our cricket from time immemorial.

This has been the perennial problem with CWI; they have been doing the same thing for over 30 years and expect different results.

Needless to say, we are doomed and will continue to be unless we employ problem solvers.

Have those guys just started learning the skills to play spin...a life long problem?

This really is a lay of the land for our cricket...no accountability, no innovation, people who are afraid to rock the boat, no problem solvers, and a bunch of useless board members.
