It's not rocket science.

A commentator said today: "It's amazing how different a side can be just because of one player." She was making reference to Hayley Mathews' inclusion on the side today in their warm match against Australia.

😀

I accept that our girls are learning on the job but when you see the players making the same school girl errors day after day, you wonder what have they got between their ears.

Quiana Joseph is a case in point...can hardly score a run on the off side. Why are the coaches persisting with her?. She simply cannot bat

Deandre Dottin is not too dissimilar. She cannot score a run on the off side to save her soul. The game has left Deandre behind. The same thing can also be said Stefani Taylor She is like an old Singer Sewing machine without the electronics.

This really is a microcosyn of the West Indies team. Slow to learn and understand the game.

....................

As far as the West Indies team is concerned, folks, just watch games for its crap value

Dottin looks like she has understood that teams will be looking to bowl outside her off stump to limit her scoring and she is trying to make the adjustment...a lot better so far.

Overheard the Aussie cappo telling her bowler who was bowling to Dottin: "avoid her hitting you to cow."

I could replace those ladies names with a few of the males. Same mistakes over and over.

She should at least adjust to an off-stump guard and depend on hand-ye to avoid being bowled "around)behind her legs"

@Brerzerk

They attempt to bludgeon the ball because they kack the technical ability to find the gaps. For this reason CWI needs to indentify young cricketers with technical ability and take it from there.

Too few of our current cricketers are without the technical competence to improve on their game. This is why they are stuck in gear.
