Adeadja hodge just dropped

A 10.63. Fifth fastest time ever for a woman. Quite interesting

Didn't see your post. Though the wind reading is pretty interesting (picked up just before the race but still within legal range} both she and Tharpe seemed to have more in their legs! Fast track and all but those too youngsters appear to be able to run faster. A one off I think not, we shall see.

@Brerzerk

Yeah, good time, even for high altitude Eugene. Let's see if Hodge can translate that time into good performances at the Diamond League against top quality opposition.

The BVI athlete also served a doping ban after failing a test at the World under 20 championships, I think.

The Aussie Gout Gout got a lot of build up for his outstanding 200m in Australia, but at the Oslo DL he was blown away by the more experienced Tebogo.

@rudebway

Interesting indeed. Today is final with Shenese. Maybe a world record is in store.

@RoyalDad

Haven’t seen you on here for a while!!. These ncaa times are crazy this year

Hanging in there. Still keeping up to date on activities and events. Hodge was Carifta outstanding athlete couple years ago. Now she has turned into serious threat to everyone for the 100. Only a freshman. Does anyone see any red flags? BVI must be as elated as St. Lucia was with Alfred. Watch the final tonight.

She was given a 2 year doping ban, which was reduced by some months. it was not very public. it probably explains why she was away for a couple years

But in general, these Eugene NCAA times are always fast. They dont necessarily translate to the circuit or the big championships

@rudebway

nice

@Chrissy

Shenese Walker (ex Hydel) beat her in the final. Shenese has been running well all season. According to Trackalerts, she is NOT competing at the Jamaican trials. Probably the grind of the collegiate season.

@rudebway

She dropped a 21.64 in the 200. Top time this year so far. Like Ninjaman would say, something no right ya.

Shenese was true to form with her 10.89.

Dejenea same thing, while breaking Pryce's record. Ja now has a formidable women's 4 x 400 with Williams.

Hodge may leave college for all we know.

Hodge was well beaten in the final though the winning time was 10.8...
