The curious case of Chase

At the moment, what is Chase offering to our storied team? Please give me your feedback

He can bowl decently and is a good fielder. That's it. If Chase is who you looking to bat for a win, well expect to lose.

Motie for Chase, Holder for Springer and Auguiste for King.

  1. We are not a storied team.
  2. Chase did not select himself.
  3. His not offering much substance beyond bat and ball is not dissimilar to a previous captain who is actually the one who selected him, whom you now query.

@JoeGrine

The captain of the West Indies team hardly selects any player.

There’s only one selector, head coach, and decision maker in current West Indies cricket.

Chase is currently rated number six allrounder in the world in T20 competition. Ahead of Jason Holder, Shepherd .

I agree his batting has badly fallen off, but he is still an asset to the team. dat is why Sammy selects him.
