West Indies have won the toss and have opted to field

Shai Hope: We’re going to bowl again. We’re just going to back ourselves and chase again. We’ve got two changes. Shamar Springer and Romario Shepherd miss out, and Ackeem Auguste comes in, Jason is back.

Kusal Mendis:It's a good oppurtunity for us to win a series in West Indies. We batted really well in the middle period in he previous game, hopefully we replicate it again today. We are playing the same team.

Pitch report | Jimmy Adams: It’s been a glorious day of sunny weather here in Kingston, Jamaica, for this final and deciding T20 International between the West Indies and Sri Lanka at Sabina Park. Tonight, we’re on a fresh strip, different from the one used in the first two matches, including last night’s game where Sri Lanka posted almost 200 batting first.

Matthew Forde to Kusal Mendis, out Caught&Bowled!! An early strike for the West Indies. Forde plucks it one handed in his followthrough. This was on a good length angled into the right-hander, Mendis closes the bat face early on the flick and gets a leading edge back to the bowler. Forde times the jump to perfection and gives a send off to Mendis, who is not happy with it and has a word back.

Kusal Mendis c and b Matthew Forde 5(5) [4s-1]

Goneeeeeeee! Forde gets his man a sharp caught and bowl chance! Has a few words for Mendis, who does not like it.

Pitch turning and stopping not good signs for the team batting second.
