Shepherd has shown no improvement over the years either in his bowling or batting. Although he has occasionally scored some runs it has always been against faster bowlers.
Whenever spinners bowl to him, we know he will last but just a few balls before he is back in the pavilion. And his bowling - always expensive, and frequently contributes to the team's demise.
While Sammy and co. seem to have confidence in him which I think is misplaced, given his persistent poor performances, should Shepherd continue to find a place in the Windies white ball teams? I rather think not
