Don't be fooled by the recent T20 victory by the West Indies against Sri Lanka. Nevermind the latest monotonous refrain about "trusting the process" and "we are moving in the right direction."

You don't need me to tell you that our cricket is still in free fall; our batsmen are still clueless against spin and cannot build an innings; our bowlers are by and large inconsistent; our pitches still suck; and the organisation installed to get us out of this quagmire is stuck in its own cesspool.

A house built on a weak foundation cannot stand the test of time. "The more things change the more they remain the same."

We still suck.
