Allyuh too fraid to comment on her batting yesterday.

Is this all we got? If we have to depend on her batting, well Jah help us.

Girl, come back home and learn to bat properly. You do not belong to the big stage.

She have the tools in her to get far better. The fundamentals look good. Plus she looks athletically fit and doesn't possess the 'big bone ' curse.

@Raggs

You seem to place a heavy weighting on small bone. This is one small bone who cannot bat in T20 cricket.

Yesterday Claxton scored 21 runs off 34 balls with a SR of 62. How does this help a team chasing 187 and needing to score @ a 156 SR? She faced 28% of the allotted overs yet scored 14 percent of the runs.

In such circumstances it would have been more beneficial to the team had she gone slogging and made 10 runs from 6 balls or retire out.

She wasted plenty, plenty of resources.

No professional side loses a T20 by 38 runs with one batter batting 6 overs and scoring at a Strike Rate of 62 and half the batting side in the pavillion.

These are mediocre performances from all fronts: selectors, captains, coaches and analysts.

Hack!!!!

Had Jahzara Claxton scored @ a SR of 156 she would have scored 53 runs = -32 runs to the team's cause.

Conclusion: It would have served West Indies better if some slogging had taken place instead of this absurd poking.

What I saw was great talent. Shot selections were good just confidence and better timing which comes with experience that will no doubt make her a good cricketer and great servant to west Indian cricket.
