The guy has a chance to put up a double ton in a test match for the first time and you calling him selfish.

You guys are never satisfied. If he had score 20 you would be singing a different tune.

I am not a fan of Chase and still do not think he is the best captain for the team, but he has had a miserable time with the bat in previous innings.

Let him reach his double ton, the score is over 600 and the lead is over 300 and I am sure he will declare then. there are still two more days to go.

Sammy is allowing the Captain the opportunity to declare. which he should have done upon his dismissal. Lack of urgency in this regard as he should have upped the ante towards 200. However I will not take anything away from him as he played exceptionally well.

Time is one consideration, timing another. Some mentally and physically tired Sri Lankan batsmen out there. Time to take advantage 2/3 wickets and this could finish quickly.
