No doubt his knock was great for him an the team but he went 21 inns without a 50 (yes 21!!) so law of averages if you haven't been dropped after that you are almost certain at some point to have ur day in the sun....an it just happened to be yesterday!!

He should never have been captain and even worse, retained as skipper.

VERY lucky to even be in the side after averaging 24 with the bat in nearly 60 tests. His donkey drops cost almost 50 a go too.

Credit to him for a big score but it changes nothing of the dismal selection process.

VOR soon come with his argument that if Hami were treated similarly, then he would've been the established WK thereby saving us the embarrassment (at least) of the current backstop.

No batsman in this side should even be in test cricket with those averages .
