my boy Shaq Parris came good today again? 177 in a ODI. He and Anderson who seems to have found his groove back both batting well. Together with Wickham and Kirk, Nandu and Cooper, we have strung together a few young batsmen that we can all keep an eye on in the immediate future. We Rally!!

Fingers (and toes) crossed that a few of these youngsters kick on and become good players...and without rushing them...asap...

Nobody in the test squad averages even 30 (aside from Jangoo, obviously), so the need for quality in the batting department has never been more urgent.
