Do the decent and proper thing Coach Pochettino

With the one game red card suspension of your key player now revoked allowing him to play against Belgium tonight, you should refuse to suit Balogun for tonight's game..

The revoking of the ban after Trump's intervention in the matter to FIFA president Infantino

sets an unsavoury precedence.. And coming from the Host Ntion that is celebrating 250th Annivversary ,sullies good sportsmanship and integrity of the game and its wonderful spectacle.

It is a big ask for the Coach to keep the player seated, but he will have earned the respect of the entire Football(Soccer) Fraternity even this excludes the USA.

The International Referee Federation is being disrespected to the utmost as are the USA opponents Belgium and all countries and Confederations that are supporters of FIFA and its many codes that seek to maintain the integrity of the game.

But the global game will be much much better off if the USA coach refuses to play the player although he has been 'freed' from the red card under political and perhaps other pressures..

I do not expect Infantino to exclude the player however as serious consequuencies would follow, not the least is loss of job.

Whatever the outsome of this,CONFEDERATIONS of the FIFA should take a closer look at the FIFA president Infantino and seek his removal at the next Congress.

There is no sure thing of a win if Balogun is included and plays the game. But in this case it would be best for all that he does not play and keep the ingredient of integrity of the world's greatest game intact with better to come. If we subscribe to the idea that the game is bigger than that players, politicins, charlatans and administrator and others, then this player should ride the pine,

This reversal does not pass the smell Test.

US has been playing well...this just upsets the apple cart, especially with Potato head getting involved. FIFA is so corrupt, Trump and Infantino are made for each other

@hubert

I agree with you 100%...!

Trump is a Narcissist....!

will England defender Jarell Quansah get his Red Card revoked also...? Should King Charles complain to FIFA.

"...How can you be banned from a game you haven't played yet..."

This is coming from a man who understands football.

😀

It is an ideal opportunity for UEFA to heal the suppurating wound that is FIFA.

Let's await UEFA's response,

Little if any decency left in the world since this guy was propelled to the helm. 77M voted for a guy who cheats at a friendly game of golf, boast about grabbing women's nether regions, and say every measure to hold him accountable is either unfair or biased because the officials aren't white Europeans. (Curiel, Chutkin, Bragg, James...)
