The weather in Nottingham looks set to be fair, and Trent Bridge, once seen as a haven for high-scoring T20 cricket, has shown signs of moving away from that reputation.
Since 2025, 16 T20s at this venue have produced an average first-innings score of 160, though that number rises to 191 in victories. It remains a small ground, though, and with the series on the line for India, the stage is set for a cracker.

Arshdeep Singh to Phil Salt, no run

Massive shout for leg before. Arshdeep Singh feels it is close, but Shreyas isn't convinced, or has he? Oh wow! He takes the review with a second to go on the DRS clock. Looks like it has missed the bat - enough evidence on UltraEdge. Pitched outside leg. End of story. India lose a review as well.
