I must say there have not been many instances where the batting has actually held its own.

This series a 600+, 499 and 109 without the loss of a wicket tells me that we are on to something here. Maybe Sammy has finally found the right combination of players, but we shall see.

It appears that Campbell has solidified his place at the top with two solid half centuries and Brandon King may have saved his spot.

Hope, Jangoo, Chase, Greaves and the fast bowlers are assured of their spots next series.

The only doubtful spot here is Hodge, but he really has not done anything wrong or be a detriment to the team so I figure this team will go forward without a change for next series (maybe Anderson may bow out for Roach).

Albeit it was on a very good batting pitch, I am very pleased with the series win. Hopefully it will boost the confidence of the players and the fact that we took 20 wickets in the first match shows improvement. Overall, a well-deserved victory for the West Indies.

It will be interesting to see them against the Pakistan spinners on the Trinidad wickets

Well, the only issue that might come up is the wicket keeper position, it might be too much to ask Hope to continue doing the job

With Jangoo, can they share the duties?

firstly, congrats to the management and team for the series victory. It was impressive to see WI batsmen have 3 consecutive good performances with the bat. 4 centuries and 3 fifties in 3 innings is nothing to sneeze at. With the addition of Keemo, this squad is now probably the best it can be. I think that there must be some management of the workload of the bowlers with Phillip and Keemo rotating in and out so that the main guys get some proper rest and similarly, if Hodge does not come good soon, Silva is back in for him, even if he plays only as a batsman and Hope keeps the gloves. My only concern is that the bowling, penetrative as it is, is pretty one dimensional. We need to ensure that we read pitches properly and decide when Warrican, if he is now the test spinner, comes in for one of the fast men. My only criticism is that Sri Lanka out thought us in the second match in that they were able to keep our scoring rate down sufficiently so as to nullify the risk of us chasing with sufficient time on the last day. I hope that we are not too proud to learn from them in that regard.

The only change is Roach for Anderson as we missed his experience and ability to move the ball both ways and bowl miserly. I like Anderson as he is a honest trier, but personally Nial Smith or Keemo may well pass him up in the end.

However it is unfair to single this out as a one- series batting performance. We showed glimpses of our batting resilience in India and New Zealand. One thing i am concerned about is Roston Chase's vulnerabilities to short pitch bowling even from a medium pacer. Roston may have extended his captaincy tenure this series but in the long-term we must look at other leadership options.Like Roston, but that inept display was concerning.
