British MP says Territories should pay Britain reparations

Thu, Jul 9, '26 at 2:26 PM

A former British minister says the territories that Britain colonised ought to pay reparations to London for the "investment, effort and contribution" that she claims the former slave empire made in building them.

The irony is this ignorant person is of Indian descent, whose parents immigrated to Britain from Kenya and Mauritius.

Let the stupid woman visit every former British Caribbean island and if she could find at least one British investment in any island which has been beneficial to the people in that island then we will give her the reparations.

These transplanted so-called British subjects are even worst than their colonizers.

@Halliwell

the Ugandan Indians are the worst I have heard

It makes me wonder if such behavior was because of Amin

or Amin did what he did becos of this behavior

@sudden

Bro listen to Idi on the history of Indians in Uganda. That's why Prof. Mamdani gets my respect because he bucks the behavior of his homies.

NB through Britain Museveni repaid The Ugandan-Indians for their losses.Up to Amin's time The Indians refused Ugandan citizenship saying they were Indians, Pakistan is or British. Anyway once again Indians own over 95% of Ugandon economy

@Brerzerk

We owned some properties in Ghana and next to us is an Indian family from India who bought about 50 acres. While I do not have a personal problem with Indians, we all grew up together in Jamaica but I am sure Ghanians and other foreigners are not allowed to purchase large parcels of land in India. So this might be one of Idi Amin’s argument, as why allow Indians properties in Africa when Africans are not allowed the same access in India.

@Slipfeeler

Where is the link to the article?

@Slipfeeler

Amin's main argument is they were brought over as British subjects and got preferential treatment re loans, business. Many generations later they refused Ugandan citizenship, refused to integrate and treated many black employees with scant respect. He however went too far too quickly

The worst of the politicians who are hostile to the colonies and immigrants is Kemi Badenoch, she is from immigrants parents and she says the most aggressive things about the deportation of immigrants from England
