Ugly Victory is BETTER than a pretty loss ....

West Indies Batsmen are "addicted" to hitting FOURS and SIXES ..................

However, the batting condition yesterday was NOT conducive to aggressive stroke play.

This simply meant that an adjustment had to be made.

Item #1: The number of our top-batsmen who got clean-bowled ... trying to either PREMEDITATE or

INNOVATE.

We got off to a brisk start, however, when spin was introduced and the boundaries dried up, it called for a

DIFFERENT approach.

Instead of trying to attempt the IMPOSSIBLE, we should have shifted to a different approach .....

We should be pushing into spaces for SINGLES. And gradually start to stroke it into the gaps .... for twos and

threes.

To my mind: It was John Campbell's DAY to bat for the West Indies.

I have NEVER witnessed him getting clean bowled, like that before.

John Campbell, cameos are UNACCEPTABLE, at this stage.

John seems to want to make up for the time missed from the game; he sees his homie making runs in the IPL and thinks he can do the same, so formats don't matter.
