Where’s the crowd???
Hety, Rutherford, Motie, & Kemo playing
@imusic
On a personal note i was preparing to go but it hinged on who won the toss since patently we cannot win(very rarely) when batting 1st in helpful conditions against a good team so decided to stay put an watch on tv.....on the crowd ...let's not also forget it's a working day .....in any event whatever crowd there was or wasn't its still better than it would be anywhere else....guaranteed!!!!
@imusic
Where’s the crowd???
wait for CPL.......de concept of a WI team is oudated and now a farce
Even a 'national' franchise team like Amazon warriors carry more weight for fans than a WI team.
BTW I was amused with Josh DeSilva saying he is now so happy to be representing many countries than representing only one...he said this on the morning he regained his spot on the WI team.....de suck up obviously didn't work....no long run for he...bench after one match
look how they are illtreating JANGOO
Now....on to Bim....massive crowds???
@Narper
You’re right about CPL…..AND West Indies cricket.
There are those who insist that crowds will return to test and ODI cricket if we had a winning team.
I’m not so sure
@Narper
CWI is where raw diamonds go to turn into charcoal.
Honestly, I’m just counting down the days until the CPL starts. The whole concept of a "CWI" team is an outdated organization run by clueless individuals.. A massive chunk of the fanbase walked away years ago, and can you blame them?
Look at how Cricket West Indies handles elite talent. They actively watch players with world-class potential self-destruct because management is completely incapable of providing basic professional guidance and support.
Take a player like Jeremiah Lawes. In any functional system, he’d be surrounded by professional coaches capable of nurturing his raw talent and driving him to the next level. Instead, he’s stuck in this broken setup.
Where is Jewel Andrew right now? Where are the others?
CWI is the only board on the planet that consistently takes pure diamonds and downgrades them into charcoal.
I officially washed my hands of CWI months ago. The only time I waste my breath or energy watching cricket anymore is when Trinidad and Tobago takes the field.
