Simple arithmetic extrapolation will show that had Sobers played as many tests as Kallis his numbers would far exceed Kallis'. Playing with and against all the great (some are all-time greats) he outplayed or dominated them all! Stats, lies ...

Look, Kallis was great statistically but in my opinion not great to look at, Sir Gary was a genius, one who was easy on the eyes, just to see him step on the cricket field you got your money's worth, he was the in personification of gracefulness. So! Where he is concern it is not just about stats, it is so much more

To my mind "great to look at" is never a consideration ....of course aesthetically pleasing has it's place.....for e.g. if given a choice between Hooper an Shiv who would you pick??....
