You do now that series wins are just about bragging rights, right? If we win the next game we close the gap on Bangladesh to 5 points. Winning games are more crucial for qualification. I think they need to adjust the points to allow for more points for a series win.

I think the attempt to make t20 players into test and odi players have failed

Forget about Ackerm,Rutherford,King,Chase as longer format players and start gradually bringing in the top performers at regional long format level

We have been trying regional performers for decades with little success. It's worth trying something different. Simply put we do not play enough quality cricket at that level to make a proper assessment of players.

Sammy got this right: Greaves, Chase, Hope have all scored centuries. Last test Cycle 2 centuries with regional performers, this test Cycle 9.

Keep Hope and Greaves . All the others I mentioned did not perform. Chase was just lucky a one off an aberration
