West Indies have won the toss and have opted to field

Hope: Going to bowl first. Usually in Caribbean, tends to favour the team batting second. We have to put that one behind us (previous loss). Only one day in between. Amir Jangoo misses out because of injury, Shimron Hetmyer comes back in. Every time you cross that line, have to put that crest on your heart.

Santner: Would've bowled first as well. Pitch looks good, looks like there's little more grass. We know it's always a challenge over here. Conditions very different to what we get back home. One change: Fisher is out for Kristian Clarke.

Pitch report | Samuel Badree: Quite hot today, windy as well. Surface is a new one, not dissimilar to the previous game. Quite firm, seems as though there are runs on offer. But the pitch played in an untraditional sense in the previous game in terms of the number of wickets taken by spinners. It's a 2.30pm local time start, wonder what impact the dew will have later on. There will be some preparation moisture, although it looks really dry.

@Narper

I don't think I've seen players pickup as many injuries as what the West Indies do.

Tue, Jul 21, '26 at 2:49 PM

@Narper

Yeah, saw that Jangoo injury in the last match.

Forde again!

4.3

Matthew Forde to Nicholls, out Bowled!! Chopped on! Goes hard on the cut outside off, the ball perhaps stays a bit low, doesn't come on very well and he gets a thick under-edge into the stumps. Didn't have much room either, but certainly a bit of variance off the surface for Forde who strikes early again.

Nicholls b Matthew Forde 10(15) [4s-2]
