Almost everytime the #3 touches the crease he eats up ah set of balls.

Why aren't these guys improving?

Or is it that they can't improve?

Man, you took the words right out of my mouth! This is why we continue to struggle in the 50 over format. With the start we got, it should be a matter of keeping the run rate ticking over. Carty is putting unnecessary pressure on the batting by eating up so many dot deliveries. Spin is the achilles heel of this team and all teams know this.

Jangoo was not being selected and he seems very good at rotating strike

I been saying that about Carty for a long time even though his Odi ave is reasonable his s/r is poor ....to me he is more suited to test cricket!
