Today in Jamaica, 30 individuals from 10 countries around the world officially became Jamaican citizens, marking the start of a new chapter in their lives.

The new Jamaicans comprising of 12 women, 13 men and 5 children hailing from Myanmar, Russia, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Italy, Haiti, Cuba, Dominican Republic and United States, each proudly adding their voices to Jamaica’s story.

Chrissy people can choose to live wherever they consider as home, so while each year there seems to be an increasing number of persons making Jamaica their home but the fact is that there are probably more Jamaicans living outside of Jamaica than those residing at home 😀
