Following his strong debut performance in the recently concluded ODI series against New Zealand Jamaican leg spinner and south paw Vitel Lawes has been snapped up by T20 franchise Desert Vipers ahead of the Emirati International League T20 tournament. 

Lawes captured eight wickets from five games at an average of 28.

Got no problem with that cos any cricket except test which i dnt think he's ready for is better than none at this still stage of his development ....just hope other coaches dnt mess him up trying to tweak certain things cos Nikita Miller has been doing a great job....also hope this doesn't hinder his availability fuh Windies!!😎

Desert Vipers signed him as a replacement for Daryl Mitchell in the GSL, which starts today.

I am glad to hear that - I got that impression when Inheard the news but the article isn’t clear.
