But the late dismissals of Imam and Babar Azam (23) have left the match still in balance. Will the balance shift in favour of Pakistan or the West Indies? Will Day 3 be the moving day of the Test? The br Pakistan captain was involved in a 155-run second wicket stand with Imam-ul-Haq (63) as the pair revived the visall is only 48 overs old and conditions are still ideal for batting. Ravi Rampaul | West Indies bowling coach:
I think we were inconsistent in our line and lengths. When we saw them bowl in the morning session, we thought there was a bit in the wicket, but as the sun baked, it became easier and we weren't consistent. We highlighted what went wrong (during the tea break), put the balls in similar places and waited for the results.
Something happens when he bowls to right-handers (referencing Seales' dismissal of Babar Azam). He still has pain when he bowls
(On Roston Chase), we'll continue to monitor and he'll be hopefully available later on in the day. Need to bowl in the right areas, we expect the ball to do a bit in the morning and we'll look for some early wickets.

It's bathed in sunshine - the cracks are increasing over a good length. A few of them have developed and there're footmarks of the fast bowlers.
The left-arm spinner has a nice area which he can try to exploit. There's some movement still available, reckons Samuel Badree in his pitch report

We're starting play at 9:56 am today and that makes it a scheduled 91-over day. The players are out in the middle and we're ready for the start of Day 3. Roach to start for West Indies - a slightly wide slip and two men at gully, he's starting from round the wicket

48.1

Roach to Shan Masood, no run, short of a good length and a hint of shape away from the left-hander, punched off the back-foot to cover-point

Salman given out lbw

reviews

missing - not out

Mon, Jul 27, '26 at 10:15 AM

GIVEN LBW

50.6

Roach to Salman Agha, no run, Salman Agha has been given OUT LBW and he reviews it. The nip-backer and Agha was caught in the crease, played all around the ball and is beaten on the inside edge. No bat and UltraEdge confirms the same. Onto ball-tracking and it's swinging down a long way - NOT OUT and Agha saves himself with the review

Mon, Jul 27, '26 at 10:25 AM

52.4

Roach to Shan Masood, 5 runs, that's a wild throw and he's gifted Shan Masood 5 runs - length ball outside off and it's punched in front of cover. Chanderpaul is slightly deep and it's an easy single, but he unnecessary shies at the striker's end and with no one backing up, it's a gift for the former Pakistan skipper

Mon, Jul 27, '26 at 10:29 AM

53.6

Jayden Seales to Salman Agha, FOUR, creamed, that should give him plenty of confidence, tad too full and wide of off - Agha leans into the drive, high elbow and on the rise, into the gap wide of cover and the ball raced away

Mon, Jul 27, '26 at 10:32 AM

54.5

Roach to Salman Agha, FOUR, edged and four, on a good length and in that channel just outside off - draws Agha forward, but he does so with soft hands and the edge rolls wide of second slip
