et tu brute?

As you well know, it's standard procedure everywhere.

If there are legitimate grounds, most countries, not least the grate UK or grate Merika, have legal avenues to do this type of thing. And they do it often.

So when supercilious misfits look at a headline back home and act like it's some backward shitehole banana republic crap, it points more towards their own self-hate rather than any other angle.

The legal frameworks for wiretaps and surveillance in Trinidad and Tobago not different from what happens in your grate Blighty. The UK has some of the most intrusive digital surveillance laws going, so next time you want to grasp at straws to denigrate the backward Caribbean, check and see who's looking at you in the mirror.

Also, consider which UK agency is capturing your keystrokes when you post pon here.

It was more tongue-in-cheek than meant to rile you up pardner

listen, while you sit in your hammock do you think with the current frameworks this can be kept legal and fair?

is that a wiretap though…the release of that pice of ‘evidence’ does more damage than good

@Halliwell

@VIX

I am no attorney nor do I know the law but I did sleep at the Holiday Inn one time.

If what you guys are talking about is what Cut and Paste has here and that is all there is, there is no basis for the detention of anybody. Good investigative work wouldcontinue further before detaining an individual and before releasing a statement by the authorities. This seems like a purely political move.

BTW, it is hard for me to accept that the KPB I was familiar with and liked back in the day is operating like this.

@Halliwell

what you asking a banana republic native about law and thing breds?

ask me about rum and roti and baddists.

All i can say is that all sides feel they playing each other, but the only faction really getting played is the backward natives of TT who going to have to pay for this fiasco in one way or the other.
