All day yesterday he preached that Mohammad Ali was bowling from the wrong end.

Pakistan got the message and switch Ali to the other end today

Mohammad Ali promptly picked up 4 wickets for spit

Bish continues to heap praise on Ali

@Narper

Well done Bish…the best in the business…

Devoted West Indian but professionally neutral and unbiased in the Comms box…

@FanAttick

He just seeks attention from the opposition by advising how to get WI batsmen out

@Narper

As a cricket lover I don't see anything wrong with him doing such analysis. Other commies do analysis that WI "could" use to their advantage. By the way I'm so tuned out of WI cricket I didn't even know the series started. 1st time in my life that's happened

@Brerzerk

This was not a one off analytical comment.....Bish was on this literally all day yesterday.....and he was very gleeful this morning as Ali got his rewards from 'Bish's' end.

I am not watching the game but if Bish did that I am disappointed , it may be a sport but it is war and you don’t tell your enemy how to kill your soldiers

Sun, Jul 26, '26 at 4:34 PM

you all angry at bishop for for doing his job when any idiot with a computer in these modern times can anaylse the opposition especially a team as poor as the west indies .

Sun, Jul 26, '26 at 4:48 PM

@Narper

Come on Narps….do you really believe that the Pakistan hierarchy relies on Bish’s analysis to develop a plan of action? If you really believe that, you’re insulting the intelligence of the Pakistani coaching team…

@FanAttick

@Narper

If Bish is a prophet why doesn’t CWI hire him to be the new Dataram?

Sun, Jul 26, '26 at 5:32 PM

@Halliwell

Good question…CWI and their omnipotent coach are missing a trick

Bish is the expert on local conditions and yes if nothing is working they would follow the local expert

Really getting fed up of he s**nthole...dunno if Mr self - righteous looking for validation for being the most impartial commentator....he's almost apologetic when a decision mistakenly goes against the opposition.....meanwhile the English an Aussie will seh that's the "rub of the green" an move swiftly on ....is wuh wrang wid we stuppps??!!!

Since Bish has never played at BCL Stadium which local conditions are you talking about that he has expertise in?

Sun, Jul 26, '26 at 5:57 PM

I remember the first time I heard Michael Holding on commentary. I recall Tony Cozier gently reminding Michael Holding that he was not on the field but in the commentary box. Bishop comes from that lineage.

I celebrate Ian Bishop - the best in the world. He understands the nuances of the game. He expresses himself in language that is accessible. And he is literate, Players and spectators the world over benefit from his stints on commentary. West Indians would do well to listen closely.

Obviously you have not been watching nor listening.

BCL ground has been around since 2007 and Bish have been doing commentary since then,

Based on Ali bowling style and the direction of the wind Bish was mouting off.
