Why is he, still getting picked?
King have failed in every format,continuously,
@Halliwell
I believe itβs time to try a youngsters.
Mackenzie is in the 15
@Edrich
@Halliwell
Drop King's what's It Not. 'lm cyan bat. Chanders can though, keep him 20 off 100 balls blow-wow. Kip di Cappo n Vee-cee too. Dem 1 outa 10 or 0 outa 10 performance qualifies dem. King's doesn't.
@Edrich
It was a difficult wicket. Last game he made 50. Two games prior to that he made two fifties. It would be a little harsh I think
this is the best available squad . Add Hetty, Holder, Campbell, A. Joseph and trust the process.
@Brerzerk
Chanderpaul cannot bat! You call that batting? 10 runs off 120 balls?
@Edrich
Thing is, we don't have many players knocking down the door.
Our FC and List A cricket many decades ago, was the gold standard for what pre international cricket needed to be. Now we are notches below. Thus there's a learning curve and a cost in bringing in replacements, at lib. The process has to be strategic.
By the many discussions here it is evident that many don't understand the vagaries and difficulties, that is the game of cricket - moreso for batters, unlike any other sport. It is well known that cricket is a great humbler. A hero today and tomorrow a villain.
And it takes many years to make a good batter. It takes one ball to get great men out - even innocuous deliveries.
I'll end by saying that cricketers are investments. Not the gibberish you hear many spout on this and other fora
Just sayin
@spider
It is a difficult wicket, notwithstanding King played this match like it doesn't understand the nuances of the game
