@natty_forever
So you mean he is picked to play only the second innings eh!
@WI_cricfan
Hold de strain...
Watch how the skippa and VC will save this match!
@WI_cricfan
Well he better score runs here as I am asking myself the same question.

Heck, in the not too distant past, we had a captain whose position was questioned as well. That captain just selected Warrican so, it takes on to know one.
I fail to see his contribution
In fairness to the aforementioned captain, his contribution was to hide. Some here said the captain also did an activity that is quite prevalent in pentecostal churches during the signing.
Ease up on Sammy a bit here. Do you think he is telling these guys to go out there and not perform?
Each player has the responsibility when they go out there, whether it is batting , fielding or bowling to put their best foot forward.
In the event they do not have a "best foot" someone else will put it in their stead.
@WI_cricfan
I was hoping they would have selected Vitel Lawes. Warrican did look innocuous. I think Lawes would have bowled at least a few wicket-taking deliveries. I was not in favor of them playing him in the ODIs. But having played him I thought they might as well play him in the Tests as well
@embsallie
Warrican did play a test against SA and bowled zero overs, so he is not a stranger to zero role
@WI_cricfan
He does not take wickets or make runs but he has potential is well spoken and is the VC
Trust the process
@WI_cricfan
Dumb Head Coach can't select team based on condition.... this has happened before...
vs Australia..Warrican was selected in similar seam condition..
vs India Layne was selected in spin condition
vs Pakistan,Warrican again selected ahead of seamer..
In 11 test as Head Coach.... thrice..
But most wickets here coming from the pacers… bowl for bowl sake? Chase would bowl ahead of him
the west indies came into this match with injured players roston chase with his fingers and hope with his shoulder and you could clearly see it was effecting both in this match .warrican was chosen for this match because chase was unlikely to bowl and this is a unknown pitch no one knows if it was going to take turn on the fourth and fifth day so far spin has been ineffective that could change on the fourth day. in hindsight keemo paul might have been the better option seeing how the medium pacers have performed so far on this pitch and certainly the wi would have needed his batting at the position they are at now .
