Some uplifting achievements at Commonwealth Games, on this Jamaican Emancipation Day, with not only beating World Number one, Australia but also wining Men 800 meters, Men Long Jump and Mixed 4x400, among other events. I did not even have to mention the women 4x100 metres gold medal, since anywhere a women 4x100 is run at any age group, Jamaica tends to win. We did not even sent a strong team to the Commonwealth Games, as more elite athletes, prefer to continue making their living on the professional circuits.
