I vehemently criticized Bish once. When Bumrah lick dung Lil B (that one was pelted). Instead of ala Mikey educating the audience why he knows Bumrah isn't flinging he told us we should be ashamed of ourselves for thinking Bumrah flings. That was not just singing for his IPL supper but Trumpian. These criticisms however are storms in teacups.

Didn't bother to read much beyond this. It seems you are being dismissive of the progress that has been made.

The team is able to compete with any team in the world as far as I am concerned. Our bowling is on par with any. Where we need to make more progress is with our batting.

In any case the post was about the zeal with which our commentators are always willing to praise the opposition while not expressing the same enthusiasm for our guys. I just don't get that with foreign commentators and their home teams.
