However Pakistan are as mercurial as the West Indies and prone to spectacular collapses. We need to exert some form of control on the game, by stifling the scoring rate. Slow down the game, and force their hand as they need to win.

Yes agreed they are entitled to a bad day occasionally so I expect them to rein it back tomorrow. Same thing happened in the first game and they came back and exerted some pressure then Pakistan folded. I expect the same tomorrow.

On the other hand a return to form of a great (Babar) and a pretty good (Rizwan) could also determine things. We wait.

Add 100 runs, without losing any wickets (if Pakistan get to 360/2 then they are well in the ascendancy)

Or, add 20 runs but with another three wickets down (say, 280/5 this match is back level)

Yesterday, i.e. day 2, was clearly MUCH better for batting. West Indies needed to bat further into the day and they failed to do so, giving Pakistan ample time to make the best use of the pitch. If the track plays in a similar fashion today, the tourists will be difficult to reign in. West Indies must keep their focus, bowl with great discipline and field well. Pressure will lead to wickets, can't allow the tourists to take this one away from them after so much good work during this home test season.
