How comes the Tage supporters are so quiet

Tage supporters are usually on the boards making ridiculous comparisons, maybe they are waiting for the second innings to start back making comparisons. Of course we all know that both openers are no world beaters, so I cannot understand the focus on Tage over King?

@Slipfeeler

Tage avg. will remain the way it is after the series. King, Campbell and Tage are comparable in average None of dem have solidified their position as openers… we need a good opening pair - this issue has plagued our team since Haynes and Gordon era ended. Gayle went through 100 partners. Last test match king did absolutely nothing, but u called out Tage 😀

@Cricket_101

I am not sure if we will ever find another Greenidge and Haynes opening pair, so we have to make do with the ones we have. After Kirk McKenzie shouldered the batting against the mighty Australians, then he lost form, he probably should have been persisted with around the squad, as a part of his development process. Case in point, the reason why Barbados now has the most experienced players on the West Indies team, is because many of those players were persisted with even during their many failures.

@Slipfeeler

Tage can't lace his own Dad's shoes...... bro should be looking to make a lil 50-60 every innings.... unfortunately no one, it seems, is knocking down the door.... cupboard is BARE.

@Slipfeeler

Kirk McKenzie averages 17 and got 1 degedege 50 against Australia. Did you know Tage's first 3 innings against Australia are 51, 45, & 47???

We all know that Tage sucks but to call for Kirk like it's going to magically change anything is lunacy lol

Hodge did not look out of position as an opener today, maybe that might be an option in the future

BTW, Tage strike rate in this 2nd inning is higher than everyone except Shamar. 😜
