How much do we need to win this game?

This game shaping up like the last game where we gave them 220+ but will that be enough this time? I say 180 maybe enough to pull off the win. How we get there that is the question!

A lead of 200

Got to learn how to bat spin first.

A Warrican 8fer

Chase gave it away. A meek surrender. Will take a herculean performance to get to 200 lead. Realistically 150.

@voiceofreason

I will get 150;from the last 4. King needs to bat

Yes, if they manage to get a 150 lead they might have a chance

From what the commentators said, if we win the match, we go above England in fhe WTC

If we lose the match, Pakistan goes above us in the WTC

So I guess it depends on how much value the WTC has to West Indies.

@imusic

Read it again. Put a comma after need. Mark you, that makes it double important,we set a score we can defend.

@imusic

I believe we should be looking to improve on our standing from the last WTC cycle so yes we should be hoping to get 150 to seal the deal. Anything more than that is a welcome bonus.

@voiceofreason

150 should be enough to win given the fragility of the Pakistani middle and lower order.

Bbut we’re also a bowler, some will say 2 bowlers short with Chase unable / unwilling to turn his arm over.

I think 225 to 250.

Anything less is not going to be enough. There are only so many times when the Pakistan lower middle order will fail. Eventually one of these guys are going to fire.

As to how we get to 225, I have faith in the last four wickets with Greaves still there. If King can give us what he did in the first innings I will be content.

The picture looks pretty bleak though.

@voiceofreason

VOR, 150 and some pressure from Greaves with the chatter. That should be enough. Shamar and Warrican for the win.

to get there though, that’s 90 runs and Kingie have to pelt bat and Shamar has to be discerning. Roachie will do Roachie tings…stay there and let them man pelt bat.

chances aplenty to still win this.

Sadly we probably only have at best a 20% chance of winning....the cricket gods have spoken....1,Greaves gets injured when batting an could not bowl was a big loss....2,Chase injured finger still affecting him hence could only bowl a few..an Hodge bowling waste of time....now King injured when effecting a run out an may not bat ...to come out of this with a win would be one of the best of recent times ...but almost certainly its a 1-1 drawn series unless rain intervenes....still better than a loss!

Sajid Khan on a day 4 pitch ?

We will be lucky to get to 100 lead, even if King comes out to bat.

I would love Greaves, Shamar and King to prove me wrong
