we does self sabotage all the time, we play our opposition at venues where they have the strongest support, prepare pitches to suit their bowling then our commentators give them tips on how to out our players and we wonder why we lose so often

dominant teams win regardless of where they play but we are not a dominant team, we will naturally lose more away matches than home matches, but we are always playing away tests, even when we are at home it is like we are away, there is no home advantage, here we have a two test series where we are one up and with a world class fast bowling attack, we have opportunity to blackwash a major test nation a rarity these days and we prepare a spinning wicket, how daft can you be, that pitch should favor fast bowling and with no apologies

When has the QPO pitch EVER been successfully prepared specifically for fast bowling…..even when they’ve tried?

while it would satisfy you to say pot calling kettle black, this is not the case, this is something we should change in the future to give our team a clear home advantage and the best chance of winning, cricket is not just a game on the field.

playing England at Kensington is not pitch issue, it is because of the fans in attendance being mostly English, tickets sales is the issue.

if QPO couldn't produce a fast bowlers pitch then no test should have been played there, perhaps an alternative venue could have been posited

Look the sides were almost equal after the 1st innings. Pak led by 53.

We should have added 75-100 more runs in the 1st innings . West Indies won toss and batted. At end of a shortened day 1, we were 239-5 with Justin Greaves was (64* off 125 balls) and Roston Chase was (36* off 70 balls) . What happened next day...we were all out for 344.

Our cappo only discovered in the match he couldn't bowl his spin. Even tho he carried this finger injury into both matches, If he wasn't sure if he would be capable of bowling then be sure and include the extra spinner.

Why didn't WI pick another spinner???.....Pak dropped their best fast bowler Abbas to play the extra spinner.

Roach should have been rested...he could only bowl 2-3 over ineffective spells on pitches not conducive to his bowling. In this match Pak fast bowlers bowled much better than ours. I expected homeboy Seales to do much better at QPO.

Our most effective bowler Greaves in the 1st test got injured when batting and could not bowl in this match. Massive blow to WI....Then King got injured and couldn't bat in the 2nd innings

So....DO NOT blame the pitch. Blame Sammy et al.

They obviously got very cocky after winning the 1st test....

Cappo Chase stated he wants to make the Caribbean a home fortress....and this is after the 1st test....he obviously assumed we will roll Pak over at QPO in the 2nd to establish the fortress
