Saint Lucia Kings have won the toss and have opted to field

Roston Chase - We will bowl first. Our message is to control the powerplay, then we an restrict them to a low total. This game is a bit more fast paced, bit more match-ups. Two changes for us today

Chris Green - It's important to start the tournament well. We were ahead until Rovman and Russell hit back. I'm used to lose tosses, but our balance is good. Hopefully we'll bat well and then use the wind to our advantage. We've got a good core, the young ones have led from the front and allowed the older guys to show their experience. Hopefully, that'l continue. Same team for us.

We had a bit of rain in the last match, but it's only 20% tonight. It's the same pitch once again - 61m and 64m square boundaries, the straight boundary is at 73m. One half has less grass, the other half has more grass. There'll be a bit of bounce and seam, but it should be good for batting. As a bowler, you can use the short ball to good effect, reckons Daren Ganga, in his pitch report

Rain

Sun, Aug 16, '26 at 7:03 PM

19:02 Local Time, 23:02 GMT, 04:32 IST: The players are out in the middle and we're ready to start - as we wait for the first rain, rain has swept across the ground. Just looks like a passing shower though and we'll continue? No, the groundstaff spring into action. The stumps are taken down and the players walk off
